Patriot Act

U.S. Patriot Act Disclosure Statement Customer Identification Requirements

The USA Patriot Act requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens a membership. These efforts aid in the fight against funding of terrorism and money laundering activities and are required by the Federal Government.

Alcoa Community Federal Credit Union will only ask for the information required by law and will use the information solely for the purpose of complying with the law. Information may include name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.

A valid driver’s license or another form of unexpired government-issue photo ID would be acceptable forms of identification for U.S. citizens.

Non-U.S. citizens may require a passport or alien identification card along with a state or government-issued photo ID
